The article describes the nutritional composition of blueberries and their health effects, also reviewed advance in their storage and fresh technology including cold storage, pre-temperature treatment, MAP, coating storage, fumigation preservation,UV-C radiation preservation and high voltage electrostatic field preservation. Judging from the broad prospects of Chinese blueberry market, development directions and research emphasis of blueberries in the future were put forward. |
