The kumquat was a nutritional and healthy fruit and had important biological activity. This paper summarizes the funtion of natural products including aromatic oil,carotenoid, flavonoids, limonoids and coumarin from kumquat. Especially a detailed description was given of functional components and biological activity of the fruit.And it also expected its prospect. Then,an important recommedation for developing deep-processing products of kumquat were offered. |
