| 白沙枇杷品种“苏白1号”是江苏省苏州市东山镇槎湾村枇杷园中发现的优良单株，2009年2月通过了江苏省农林厅组织的新品种鉴定。2010年春季以接穗形式引入千岛湖进行高接换种，试栽观察。结果表明，“苏白1号”枇杷成熟期较千岛湖主栽品种软条白沙晚10天左右，抗性强，不易裂果，丰产性好，丰富了千岛湖白沙枇杷品种。 |

| ‘Subai 1’, a white loquat superior individual, selected from the resource of loquat garden in Dongshan town of Suzhou, was certified as a new variety by Jiangsu Province Agriculture and forestry Department in February 2009. It was introduced into Thousand Island Lake by high position grafting in the Spring of 2010. The results indicated that ‘Subai 1’ matured later 10 days than ‘Ruantiaobaisha’, the main cultivar in Thousand Island Lake, with strong resistance and high production, which enriching local white loquat cultivars. |
