| This review mainly conveys the control technology and research progress of the Asian citrus psyllid, Diaphorina citri Kuwayama. The control technology includes 1. biological control with applying parasitoids, coccinellids and entomogenous fungi, etc. 2. spraying broad-spectrum and low-toxicity insecticides like neonicotinoids pesticides such as imidacloprid. 3. field management like planting programming and cultivation management, etc. 4. other methods like cultivating avirulent seedlings. In the end it is discussed about the trend of control research of D. citri. This review aims at providing theoretical reference and technical support for the management of D. citri and citrus huanglongbing (HLB). |
