The introduction performance of Mangifera indica cv. Guire No.3 and M. indica cv. Guire No.4 in Xingyi, Wangmo and Zhenfei in Guizhou was observed form 2020 to 2022. The results showed that the mature period of ‘Guire No.3’ was mid-early September, 40 ~ 50 d later than that of ‘Tainong No.1’, which avoided the peak of harvest. The average single fruit mass of ‘Guire No.3’ was 341.67g, the edible rate was 73.54%, the soluble solid content, total acid content, vitamin C content were 21.6%, 0.30% and 21.24 mg/100g, respectively. The solid acid ratio was 72.60; The mature period of ‘Guire No.4’ was mid August, 10 ~ 20 d later than that of ‘Tainong No.1’, which didn’t avoid the peak of harvest, but ‘Guire No.4’ had high yield and excellent fruit quality, its average single fruit mass was 382.67g, the edible rate was 75.07%, the soluble solid content was17.8%, total acid content was 0.25%, vitamin C content was 12.20mg/100g, the solid acid ratio was 76.90, the flavor taste was lighter than that of ‘Tainong No.1’, which was more suitable for the local consumer. The two mango varieties had good adaptability, strong resistance, high and stable yield characteristics in Guizhou area. In conclusion, the two new mango varieties could be cultivated as excellent min-late maturing varieties in Guizhou. |
